Among the scourges afflicting our age is becoming more pressing as pollution that plagues our cities and as we all know the elements that compose it are many and the World Health Organization has included such phenomenon highly carcinogenic. But how can we fight it?
It might be easier than we can imagine, in fact, the project MAPEC - LIFE responds precisely to this question. MAPEC is an acronym for "Monitoring air pollution effects on children for supporting Public Health Policy" and is the program which has put at the center of his studioi children. The goal is to understand what are the effects caused by air pollution by involving 1,000 children aged 6 to 8 years old enrolled in primary schools in five different Italian cities: Brescia, Pisa, Lecce, Perugia and Torino -
